Parcel, customer carrier accounts, local delivery, pallets, LTL/FTL, export freight, tracking, and shipping claims.
This Shipping Policy applies to parcel, multi-package, local-delivery, customer-carrier-account, pallet, LTL, FTL, air, ocean, container, export, and other shipping arrangements for purchases from MERYT LLC through Orbit-Store.com, accepted quotations, invoices, and purchase orders.
MERYT LLC is the legal business entity responsible for Orbit-Store shipping obligations unless a transaction document expressly identifies another legal entity. Orbit-Store.com / Orbit Store is a MERYT-operated brand and ecommerce property. MERYT Aerospace Chemicals and MERYT Industrial Chemicals may use or reference the same or different shipping programs depending on the destination website, product, and transaction.
If a visitor is routed from Orbit-Store to a different MERYT-controlled website or future separate entity, the shipping policy and transaction terms presented for that destination may apply to orders placed there.
Available shipping methods depend on product, quantity, packaging, weight, dimensions, destination, carrier availability, hazardous-material status, export requirements, customer account status, and commercial terms.
| Method | Typical Use | How Pricing Is Determined |
|---|---|---|
| Automated parcel | Single packages and normal ecommerce quantities | Available carrier/service rates shown or quoted for the shipment. |
| Multi-package parcel | Orders shipped as several cartons/packages | Each package may generate its own transportation charge based on actual characteristics. |
| Customer carrier account | UPS, FedEx, or other approved carrier account supplied by customer | Carrier charges generally bill to the customer account under carrier terms. |
| Pallet / LTL | Drums, cases, pallet quantities, heavier commercial orders | Custom freight quote based on origin, destination, class, dimensions, weight, accessorials, and carrier market. |
| FTL / dedicated freight | Large domestic orders | Custom quote and shipment-specific terms. |
| Container / export | 20-ft, 40-ft, consolidated, ocean, air, or export programs | Case-by-case quote including applicable freight, documentation, customs, and export conditions. |
| Local delivery | Eligible South Florida business deliveries | As stated in the applicable local-delivery offer, order, quote, or program. |
Checkout or shipping tools may provide carrier options and estimated rates. Rates are based on information available to the shipping system and may be adjusted for actual weight, dimensions, packaging, address corrections, residential/commercial classification, delivery area, remote area, fuel surcharge, hazardous-material status, or carrier-imposed charges.
For multi-package orders, transportation cost is not necessarily calculated as one single package. Each box or handling unit may have a separate carrier charge.
MERYT may use ShipStation or other fulfillment technology to select supported services, create labels, transmit shipment information, synchronize tracking, and manage parcel fulfillment. The customer remains subject to the actual carrier’s service terms and any shipment-specific MERYT terms.
Approved customers may request shipment using their own carrier account. By providing carrier instructions, the customer represents that it is authorized to use the account and authorizes MERYT to tender the shipment under those instructions.
Customer carrier credentials should be submitted only through an approved secure workflow. MERYT intends to store only information reasonably necessary for fulfillment and to display masked references where practical rather than exposing full account credentials in browser pages.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the customer is responsible for transportation charges billed to its account, including accessorials, address corrections, reweigh/reclass charges, remote-area charges, duties, taxes, brokerage, detention, storage, and other carrier charges.
Pallet, drum, LTL, FTL, and other freight rates are custom and may require shipment dimensions, total weight, freight class, stackability, number of handling units, pickup and delivery requirements, liftgate needs, appointment requirements, limited-access location status, and destination details.
A freight quote may change if the final shipment differs from the assumptions used to obtain the rate.
MERYT may support international, container, air, ocean, or other export shipments on a case-by-case basis when the transaction is commercially practical and lawful. Availability shown for U.S. domestic ecommerce does not guarantee that every product can be shipped to every country.
International shipments may require additional documentation, consignee and end-user information, export classification review, restricted-party screening, customs data, broker information, certificates, destination compliance, and payment verification.
The customer/importer is responsible for import licenses, local registrations, duties, VAT, customs charges, brokerage, destination taxes, import restrictions, and local product/use requirements unless MERYT expressly agrees otherwise in writing.
MERYT may hold, delay, refuse, or cancel a shipment when reasonably necessary to evaluate export controls, sanctions, destination, end-use, end-user, consignee, freight-forwarder, restricted-party, or compliance concerns. No shipment will be made when prohibited by applicable law.
Many MERYT products are classified as non-hazardous for transportation, but classification can vary by product, formulation, package size, mode of transport, destination, or regulation. Customers must rely on the current SDS, shipping papers, and shipment-specific classification rather than a general website statement.
Products that require dangerous-goods or hazardous-material handling may incur special packaging, documentation, service restrictions, carrier fees, or destination limitations.
MERYT may offer free or discounted local delivery to eligible business customers in designated South Florida areas, including Miami-Dade and Broward County programs, subject to the current offer and operational availability.
Local delivery may require a confirmed business address, contact person, receiving hours, delivery appointment, access instructions, and safe unloading location. Local-delivery promotions may be modified prospectively.
No pickup should be attempted without prior coordination and confirmation. Pickup availability, location, appointment time, identification, vehicle suitability, loading method, and safety requirements are determined by MERYT for the specific order.
Processing and shipment dates shown online or in communications are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in a written transaction document. Production, batch release, quality review, payment clearance, compliance screening, export review, carrier pickup, and freight scheduling can affect shipment timing.
For orders subject to consumer shipment-timing laws, MERYT will provide delay options, cancellation, or refunds for unshipped merchandise as required by applicable law.
The customer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address, contact name, telephone number, delivery instructions, and applicable account information.
Contact MERYT as soon as possible if an address needs correction. MERYT cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after processing or carrier tender. Customer-caused address corrections, reconsignment, return-to-sender, or redelivery charges may be billed to the customer.
Unless the quotation, invoice, Incoterm, or signed agreement expressly provides otherwise, carrier shipments are treated as shipment contracts and risk of loss passes to the customer when MERYT duly tenders the goods to the carrier. If the parties expressly agree that MERYT must deliver the goods at a particular destination, the agreed destination term controls.
Independent carriers are not MERYT agents. MERYT does not guarantee carrier performance, delivery time, routing, handling, tracking accuracy, claim acceptance, or claim payment. Unless expressly stated in writing, MERYT does not automatically purchase cargo insurance, declared-value coverage, or other shipment insurance on the customer's behalf.
Where risk of loss has passed to the customer, carrier loss, theft, misdelivery, delay, or carrier-caused transit damage does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund or replacement from MERYT. MERYT will reasonably support the customer with available shipment documents and claim information. If risk remains with MERYT, MERYT made a verified fulfillment error, or law requires a remedy, the applicable remedy controls.
Tracking may be provided by email, customer portal, shipping platform, carrier, or MERYT representative. Tracking events are supplied by carriers and may be delayed, incomplete, or corrected after posting.
Inspect shipments promptly. For freight deliveries, check pallets, drums, cartons, shrink wrap, seals, visible leakage, punctures, crushed packaging, shortages, and piece counts before signing where reasonably possible.
Visible damage should be noted on the carrier delivery receipt or electronic delivery record. Preserve packaging, labels, photos, shipment paperwork, and damaged product to support investigation.
Report visible damage, shortage, or suspected loss as soon as reasonably possible; reporting within 48 hours is strongly encouraged for visible delivery problems because carrier evidence can disappear quickly.
Transportation claims may be governed by the carrier, bill of lading, freight contract, shipping account, applicable law, and the transaction's risk-of-loss term. MERYT will reasonably assist with documentation where appropriate, but MERYT does not warrant that a carrier will accept or pay a claim.
If the shipment traveled on the customer's carrier account or risk of loss had already passed to the customer, the customer is generally responsible for pursuing the carrier remedy and there is no automatic MERYT refund merely because the carrier lost or damaged the shipment. If MERYT retained the risk of loss or is otherwise legally responsible for the loss, MERYT will address the matter under the applicable transaction terms and law.
Do not refuse a shipment solely because of suspected damage without documenting the issue and, where possible, contacting MERYT or following carrier procedures. Unauthorized refusal, failed delivery caused by customer error, or abandonment may result in responsibility for outbound freight, return freight, storage, redelivery, disposal, or other reasonable charges, subject to law.
Custom production, special packaging, contract quantities, pallets, drums, export orders, and container shipments may require deposits, non-cancellable commitments, production lead times, freight reservations, or special terms stated in the quotation or order acknowledgment.
MERYT is not responsible for carrier delays or events beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, port congestion, labor disruption, customs delay, government action, embargo, carrier capacity, cyber incident, natural disaster, or other force-majeure event, except where applicable law requires a specific remedy.
MERYT may maintain shipment, carrier, lot/batch, packing, certificate, delivery, claim, export, and related records according to applicable legal, customer, quality, accounting, and operational requirements. Shipment information may be corrected when discrepancies are identified, with relevant records retained as appropriate.
Shipping procedures are intended to support disciplined requirements review, external-provider control, traceability, nonconformity handling, record retention, and continual improvement consistent with MERYT's developing quality-management and audit-readiness framework.
These procedures may support future alignment with ISO 9001 and applicable aerospace quality-system principles, but they do not represent present certification to ISO 9001, AS9100/IAQG 9100, 9120, ISO/IEC 27001, or any other standard unless MERYT publishes a current certificate for the applicable scope.
MERYT may update this Shipping Policy prospectively. Revised shipping procedures apply to future shipments, future orders, and ongoing shipping programs from the stated effective date. A later website update does not automatically rewrite the risk-of-loss or freight term already accepted for a shipment that was previously tendered or completed.
